Matthew Epstein
Matthew Epstein enjoyed a successful first career as an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and Citadel from 1992 until 2006 when he retired from active portfolio management. He formed an energy-technology specialty consulting firm, Aremet Group, servicing corporate and investment clients, including Schlumberger, Halliburton, Millennium Management, and Garrison Investment Group. Following a prized engagement with Google's Terra Bella unit in 2015-2016, Mr. Epstein created a radar-satellite analytics business, which grew into the geospatial intelligence business at Cowen, a New York financial services company. Currently, Mr. Epstein owns and manages retail commercial real estate in Connecticut. Mr. Epstein graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a BA and an MBA in 1992.
